Opera-Myth "Ukraine - Terra Incognita". Series 5. The Myth of the Iron Heart
The Myth of the Iron Heart is the fifth and final part of the contemporary Ukrainian Opera-Myth "Ukraine - Terra Incognita". Ancient ritual songs, unique Ukrainian polyphony, free jazz, video art, new symphonic music, modern choreography, futuristic folk costumes - all of this is combined in a new unusual and exquisite opera.
Opera-Myth is dedicated to the warrior and singer Wassyl Slipak and all the defenders of Ukraine.
🌺 "I want our Iron Hearts, which are now beating in synchronized harmony, to be able to soften up. I think this will happen to Ukraine. We've passed these challenging historical stages, and our generation is destined to be victorious at last," says the author and director of the opera, Ulyana Gorbachevska.

You - your Land - your Kin - your Home - your Love - the umbilical cord - the artery thread that runs through - to the very heart.
When everything seems to have been lost, when it is almost broken, the most secret impulses emerge from nowhere.
It is a remembrance of one's strength, a memory of a different order. The memory of the heart.
It is close. It is inside you.
